HS2 Batching Plant

Shotcrete successfully tendered to supply 35 000m3 site batched sprayed concrete lining (SCL) to SCS JV at VRCB for HS2 in 2022.

We mobilised to site in September 2022 and produced the first confirmation and calibration batches for BSi Kitemark product certification in early October 2022.

As an “independent” SME we are both flexible and responsive. We can select the best constituents from a mix of suppliers.

This ensures operational resilience and best value:

Our McCrory MCM60 mobile batching plant has proven itself to be very reliable.

Our multiskilled batchers, loaders and drivers have produced and delivered over 70,000m3 of concrete with consistent quality, at up to 200m3 a day, every day
