Saffron Walden

The contractor A D Bly sub contracted the soil nailing, drainage system, reinforcement and sprayed concrete to Shotcrete Services. The wall was then sprayed with a layer of white dry spray material to match the aesthetics of the original chalk face as closely as possible.

• Installation of soil nails on a 3m+ high face
• Working on a degrading face due to bad weather
• Installation of weep pipes and drainage to face
• Dry spray fi nish in white to match original chalk

Despite the multitude of challenges faced the Shotcrete completed the construction successfully and without incident.
